Intrigued by the captivating world of music since his early years as an kid growing up in the 80’s, Shane Crump has embarked on an extraordinary journey that now leads him to the realm of DJing and electronic house music.

With a lifelong passion for music, Shane Crump has nurtured his musical talent, starting with playing classical music on the piano from a very young age, then evolving into playing piano in his high school jazz band and eventually dropping out of high school and playing keyboards with a professional band that performed their an original fusion of reggae and old funk.

After immersing himself in the vibrant music scene, Shane Crump found himself drawn to the evolving realm of electronic music, particularly influenced by the mesmerizing sounds of Depeche Mode, with additional influences from the hypnotic industrial punk/dance music of Front 242, Ministry, and club mixes by titans of new wave such as Pet Shop Boys, Electronic and Erasure and even the pumping Miami Bass dance music of Stevie B. and Freestyle. The energy of the nightclubs and the skill of the DJs who commanded the turntables fascinated him during his formative years. His enthusiasm for DJing grew when he had the opportunity to experiment with the turntables and crates of vinyl records at a club after hours, where he could unleash his creativity and captivate himself with the club’s sound system, pulsating lights, and fog machines.

Life’s twists and turns led Shane Crump down different paths, including starting a family and pursuing a successful career as an electrical engineer. However, the dream of becoming a DJ never faded. With newfound financial success, Shane Crump decided that it was time to turn his long-held dream into reality.

In 2021, armed with a Roland DJ-808 controller, Ableton, and a full array of studio equipment, Shane Crump made a resolute commitment to enter the world of producing EDM/House music and DJing. Despite the challenges presented by the Covid lockdown, he boldly ventured into live streaming performances from his own studio. Embracing the power of technology, Shane Crump utilized this platform to connect with music enthusiasts around the world and bring his electrifying sound to virtual audiences.

Drawing from a diverse range of influences, including the infectious rhythms of reggae, the nostalgic funk vibes, 80’s & 90’s club music, and the pulsating beats of modern artists like Tiesto, Sweedish House Mafia, Zivert and Niletto, Shane Crump is on a mission to craft a unique musical style that blends elements of American, Russian, and European flavors within the realm of electronic house music.
